Color Guide: Comic Style The Punisher

This Color Guide is for The Punisher Comic Style for Marvel Crisis Protocol.

This color scheme was inspired by the late 70s early 80s Punisher comics.  After looking at many panels I began to see that most were highlighted with a blue color. Personally I mostly highlight black with greys so this is a bit of a departure for me.

I also wanted to try something a bit different for the weapon color. Because there was already so much black I wanted to go with lighter shades on the weapons and also incorporate some of the blue hues.

The base I wanted to keep simple and subdued, so not to take away from the model itself.

Color Guide Purpose: To give painters a lists of paints that can be used to achieve a specific look on their miniatures.  The actual techniques I use can me modified based on the painters skill and desired effect. The hope is to save hobbyist time by providing examples of paint combinations they can use, eliminating the trial and error of finding the correct colors.
