    • Average wound output:
      • 9
      • On Charge
        • 14
  • Thoughts:
    • Very good damage output on charge.
    • Good vs heroes or large units.
  • The Good
    • One of the best front line fighters in the book.
    • Can heal with chalice and hunger.
    • Good save
    • Spell makes him very reliable in CC.
    • Fist of Nagash is very good.
  • The Bad
    • 25% of your army points
    • Fist of Nagash needs another costly Hero unit to be super effective.
  • Thoughts
    • 20 points more than a Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon. You get a possibly better Breath weapon and a very good Command Ability. However you lose some of the customization versatility of a regular VLOZD.
    • Hits hard and hard to kill. Great in Kastelai, but also effective in other Bloodlines.
  • Quickblood
    • B+
      • Average casting
      • Self only
  • Unit Rating
    • A-
    • Very good option to add some punch to your list.

  • Thoughts:

    • Good vs heroes or large units.
    • Many artifacts and traits can increase this.
  • The Good
    • Good front line fighter. One of the most versatile units in the book because of enhancements.
    • Signature spell can one shot unit “in theory”
  • The Bad
    • Pricy
    • Way better damage on the charge.
    • Needs enhancements
  • Thoughts
    • You will see many list that run VLOZD. Because of the abundance of named units in this book the VLOZD is possibly the best place to add enhancements.
    • One of the few hero units that is viable in any bloodline.
    • One of the few effective shooting attacks in the book.
    • Does not need support, but when supported becomes a scarry unit.
  • Curse of Exsanguination
    • A
      • Bellow average casting cost.
      • On average you will do 1 mortal wound. However if your dice get hot you can kill anything.
