- Notes:
- Monster
- Wizard and Priest
- Max wound output:
- 30
- Average wound output:

- Thoughts:
- Good at taking out high armour elite units and heroes.
- The Good
- Knows all the spells. Very good wizard. Cast Arcane Bolt multiple times.
- Can hit hard and take a hit
- Board wide army buffs and unit healing.
- The Bad
- Self healing is a bit hard
- Half your army in points
- Thoughts
- Very good unit. Can win games all by himself.
- Some very good buffs for your army. Rerolling 1 and no battleshock.
- SOOO many points.
- Can be one shot off the board, if you are not careful.
- All your eggs in one basket.
- Cost comparsion
- Archaon is 140 less
- Morathi 310 less
- Teclis 230 less
- Kroak 540 less
- Hand of Dust
- A
- Best troll spell in the game.
- Short range, use Spell Portal to increase threat.
- A
- Soul Stealer
- B
- Lots of high bravery units in the “10”. Hard to get this spell to work in some matchups.
- Against low Bravery units it is great.
- Look for ways to debuff them first.
- B
- Unit Rating
- A “without considering points cost”
- B “when looking at points”
Damage Table:
Mannfred
- Cost
- 380
- Notes:
- Legion of Night Keyword
- Vampire
- Mortarch
- Max wound output:
- 34
- Average Wound output:
- 9
- The Good
- Can select from both spell lores
- Good balance of hitting power, survivability, and utility.
- Fast at full health.
- The Bad
- Becomes very slow when wounded
- Jack of all trades master of none
- Thoughts
- 380 is a good bit of points for any unit but worth it if you build around his abilites
- Can be tanky with healing and armour of templehof. Plus the safety net of Mortarch of the night
- Very good unit buff mechanics. Put him in the middle of a pack of skeletons or zombies
- Think about all the debuffs he can dish out with lore of deathmages.
- I think between his buff, debuff, and combat ability he is an all around solid choice for a leader
- Watch out for shooting. Pick and choose his fights.
- Winds of death
-
- A
- Average casting cost.
- Need 3+ for each unit
- Could really hurt some armies with lots of squishy heroes
- Can cover a large area of the board if you pick a big unit.

Damage Table:
Neferata

- The Good
- Can select from both spell lores
- Good balance of hitting power, survivability, and utility.
- Fast at full health.
- Command Ability
- Dagger of Jet is nasty
- The Bad
- Becomes very slow when wounded
- Jack of all trades master of none
- Thoughts
- 365 is a good points cost for this unit. She adds great utility to the army and can potentially one shot big heroes with Dagger of Jet.
- Pick and choose her battles.
- Good warscroll spell and command ability.
- Legion of Blood wants you to run Deathrattle – use Grave Guard. Then use her spells and abilities to make them very very tanky.
- Dark Mist
- A+
- Average casting cost.
- Wholly within 12
- Blood Knights or VLOZD supper tanky
