Hobby Update: Necromancer

After working on the Chainrasps for so long I was happy to paint something that was not a ghost. This Necromancer as a slight kit bash using the Collegiate Arcane Mystic Battle Wizards kit, a head from the old Chaos Marauders set, The globe on the end of the staff is a cannon ball from the Empire Cannon set, and the skull and bone is from a Corpse Cart.  I used a glazing technique to paint the model. I felt I twas very successful in some parts like the Head and skull, but the cloak did not have as smooth a transitions as I wanted. However all in all I am happy with the end product.

Yes he is a bit cross-eyed, his left eye was easy to get right, but the right was very hard I re did it several times and just sort of left it slightly crossed. Just imagine he is focused on the grave-sand as it falls in the hourglass.
